BBQ Championship Series . . . Kingfisher Kookers played a part as the best, most outrageous BBQ chefs in America faced off against each other in the ultimate showdown to crown the best BBQ chef in the US. Broadcasts took place on the Versus Network, formerly Outdoor Life Network. This competitive bracket BBQ series tournament featured the world’s top BBQ chefs vying for $100,000 in prize money – the biggest in ‘cue history. Kingfisher Kookers were on display at the Integris Health: “Retooling Mens’ Health” Seminar Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on September 16, 2006. Healthy grilling info was provided to participants.

Annual Fellowship of Christian Athletes Banquet, September 12 at Oklahoma City Cowboy Hall of Fame . . . Kingfisher Kookers donated a 24-inch Gas Smoker for the Silent Auction at the Annual Fellowship of Christian Athletes Banquet.
